Most of these caps were used on Zhigulevskoe beer (Жигулевское), but not this one. The type of beer this one was used on is Slavyanskoe (Славянское).

This differs from RU420104-0010 by having a larger letter "М" in the factory name and by having the text in a narrow font. Big date variation.

Moskvoretsky pilot brewery (МОЭПЗ)

Brewery has been renamed to Moskvoretsky pilot brewery (МОЭПЗ) due to introduction of new technological processes, automated production, and scientific research.

Embossed aluminum. Embossed outside. Beer. Zhigulevskoye. Production period: 1970-1971.

Inscription on cap: along the inner circumference - "ГОСТ3473-69 МОЭПЗ", along the outer one - "Жигулевское Цена 25 к.б.пос".

"а" is lower case. "М" (in МОЭПЗ) is under "Н" (in ЦЕНА).

Inscription on cap: along the inner circumference - "ГОСТ3473-69 МОЭПЗ", along the outer one - "Жигулевское Цена 25 к.б.п".

The separators in the text along the outer circumference are stars. "Л" in the word "Жигулевское" has curved shape. Ends of 6 and 9 in ГОСТ code are curved. Silver color.

Outer separators - stars, inner ones - dots. Embossed outside. У and Л in the word "Жигулевское" have straight shape. Date (number in the middle) is more bigger then the price (25). Silver color.

Inscription on cap: along the inner circumference - "Жигулевское б.п. ц.30к.", along the outer one - "МЭПЗ ГОСТ3473-78".

Embossed inside like most of the Soviet caps of the 1980s. "МЭПЗ" is stamped along the curved inner text. The separators in the text along the outer circumference are a small circle on the left side and a star on the right side.

"МЭПЗ" is stamped along the curved inner text. The separators in the text along the outer circumference are a small circle on the left side and a star on the right side.

Most likely, this rare variation was produced in 1985 after the increase of the price from 25 to 30 kopeks. Many producers had to correct the text urgently, and as a result there is no price at all on the cap. This is not a defect, because there are similar variations from other factories, particularly in Leningrad...
