Knights, Crabs, and Spiders Made from crowncaps
A collection of cork figurines made during the Soviet era.
Maxim Kravtsov shared a collection of photos of wonderful crafts made from USSR bottle caps*. These high-quality soldered items can sometimes be found at auctions. Collectors buy them to dismantle for their caps. Often, they come from the same factory and even the same date, creating a sense of intrigue until the dismantling. It's a shame, of course, that we act so barbarically, but the collection is more important. Previously, the blog published an example of the annihilation of a similar figurine, preparing the caps for collecting.
